When it comes to SEO, the types of links that matter are those that come from reputable sources. Quality links from authoritative websites can help your website increase its rankings in the search engine results pages (SERPs). In addition, links from relevant websites can help send targeted traffic to your website. It’s important to remember that not all links are created equal; for example, links from low-quality websites can actually hurt your website’s SEO efforts. Therefore, when considering which types of links to focus on, be sure to look for those from reliable sources. Building relationships with influencers in your industry and obtaining backlinks from them are also effective ways to get quality links.

Avoid purchasing backlinks and participating in link schemes, as these can lead to penalties from search engines.

The method that works best are:
1. Press releases
2. Guest Post
3. Broken link replacement
4. Infographic submission
5. Host an event and submit it on event listing sites such as alltech event, eventbrite. Make sure to submit your event to Industry specific sites as well, for example, if your event is related to the education sector, consider submitting the event at edsurge.
