Can I use the same IP to host two or more sites ?

Hello to all seos


My web server account allow me to host 12 sites and 20 subdomains on the same account that i had. I had shared IP so can i use the same ip to host more than 1 or 2 sites. I use google adsense so is there any problem or problems with SE rankings.

If I understand you correctly, then there shouldn't be a problem.

You can use same IP, but I wouldn't use it if I had similar websites and also if you are going to be linking some of the sites to each other. You get better credit if you have links coming from different IP's.

If the sites are very similar, you don't want google to know they are all owned by you and therefore some may get penalized.
